Three for two offers

This is a different variant of the BOGOF offer and at first sight looks as though it is a good offer. However if you do the calculations, then you find that it is only offering a 33% discount compared to the bogof 50%. So this is much better for the supplier than a bogof offer. They get a higher price for the product and they clear their warehouse more quickly.

Three for two can still be a great offer at 33% discount if the product in question does not normally get discounted. So under the right circumstances it can be a very attractive offer. It all depends on the beauty products it covers.

For products you need in bulk, it is a great opportunity. If there is a bogof offer on the same beauty products, then always go for the bogof because it represents much better value to the customer.

What is interesting is that some retailers are now offering “four for three” and even more bulk offers. Where will it all end? The more Product on offer, the lesser value is the deal. If you do want four of any item, then two BOGOFs are better value than “four for three”.
